ART OF SURVIVORSHIP COALITION
Got cancer? Under 40? Musician? Artist? Photographer? Dancer? Writer? Comedian? Poet? Author? Sculptor? Painter? We want to know you! The i[2]y Art of Survivorship Coalition is an organic, grass-roots arts community of like-minded young adult cultural creatives from around the planet who got busy living when faced with the challenges of cancer, either through their own diagnosis or that of a loved one. Reflecting diversity in creativity, method and influence, the coalition demonstrates that no one is really alone in their battle with cancer and everyone has the power to get busy living. In embodying the human factor of the cancer experience, coalition members subscribe to the beliefs that:
AOSC is free to join for any young adult whose creativity was affected by a diagnosis of cancer. Coalition artists are committed to advocating on behalf of i[2]y through their art and embodying what it means to be a young adult affected by cancer. To join, simply contact us and say that you are interested in contributing your time and talent to the i[2]y Art of Survivorship Coalition. By choosing to share their survivorship stories through their art and making a difference in the lives of those in need, i[2]y is both humbled and honored by their willingness to contribute their art, their passions and their inspirational stories to our efforts. |
