Stupid Cancer Happy Hour

The Stupid Cancer Happy Hour is our signature community outreach, awareness and peer support program. (And it's evidence-based).

You see, we don't typically do relays for living stronger, races for fairy dust cures, riding for rose petals, 5K saunters for research, or team trainings. But when we do, it's not for the "cure". It's to help support young adults and only young adults.

With us, it's just you, your friends, possibly a few awkward co-workers, some booze, great music and good old stupid cancer. (Pole dancing, karaoke and flaming shots optional.) But in all seriousness, it's about hanging out with people who "get you" and who won't pity you for being 40 years younger than them.

No pressure. No judgements. Wear anything you want. Bring anything you want. Make it about your community and just have fun.
I'D LIKE TO HOST ONE!

Well, thank you for raising your hand. Since our launch in 2007, we've hosted over 220 SCHH events across the world and for 2010, we're going to break that record. So if you are interested in learning more about hosting your own SCHH event in your neck of the woods, by all means, contact us.

It's free, fun and easy to organize. Plus we've got great partnerships already established with regional chapters of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The Wellness Community, Gilda's Club, The Young Survival Coalition and others – and they're always game to collaborate and bring some "stupid cancer" support to your neighborhood.

To get started, contact Jack Bouffard.
